Boutique“Suites suspended over the Guadalest valley”
Vivood is a revolutionary hotel concept: independent suites on stilts that float above the landscape of the Guadalest valley. Each room is a design capsule with glass walls that merge with the landscape, prioritizing sustainability and digital disconnection.

The hotel was a journey from wooden houses to a sustainable hotel in the heart of nature. Daniel Mayo, architect and founder of VIVOOD, brought to life the first landscape hotel in Spain. After an initial stage focused on self-assembly houses, he made the transition to the hotel industry in 2015, supported by a team of experts in architecture, design and tourism. Today it is a benchmark for exclusive getaways in nature and a leading example of sustainable hospitality in the Alicante region.

VIVOOD's architecture is a statement of intent: a commitment to conscious and sustainable design deeply rooted in nature. Each structure was conceived to offer an immersive experience, seamlessly and respectfully integrated into the environment without altering its beauty. The project was a true architectural and design challenge, solved through modular construction and the use of materials such as wood and viroc, which are well suited to the mountainous environment of the Guadalest Valley. The architecture prioritizes proximity to nature while preserving the existing ecosystem of the hillside. The suites have been naturally integrated into the environment and elevated about three meters off the ground. Only 7.22% of the more than 75,000 m² plot is built.
VIVOOD is located in the heart of the Guadalest Valley, a highly scenic environment 50 minutes from Alicante. The village of Guadalest, with its castle on the rock, is nearby. The Sierra de Aitana offers hiking trails. The beaches of the Costa Blanca are less than an hour away. The natural park of the Font Roja and the Sierra de Mariola complete the natural offer of the area.
