Finca Cortesin rises on a 215-hectare estate in one of the most tranquil and coveted locations on the Andalusian coast, near the picturesque village of Casares. The resort was conceived as a Mediterranean sanctuary where traditional Andalusian lifestyle merges with contemporary luxury. Its golf course gained international recognition when chosen to host the Volvo World Match Play Championship in 2009, 2011 and 2012, and more recently the 2023 Solheim Cup, consolidating its position as one of Europe's most prestigious golf destinations.

Construction
2008
Designed by Spanish architects Roger Torras and Ignacio Sierra, the hotel is organized around two main courtyards of palatial proportions, reminiscent of a Moroccan riad. Wisteria-lined paths wind under Moorish arches leading to carved wooden doors rescued and restored from Portuguese monasteries. The architecture combines traditional Andalusian influences with avant-garde and majestic design. The 67 suites feature 4-meter high ceilings, travertine marble floors and Egyptian cotton sheets.

The 215-hectare estate is surrounded by virgin nature, with 23,000 m² of manicured gardens offering a refuge of tranquility with views of the Andalusian mountains and the Mediterranean.
18-hole round designed by Cabell Robinson on one of the longest courses in Europe, with access to the Jack Nicklaus Academy.
