Torre del Marqués Hotel Spa & Winery

Torre del Marqués has a rich history dating back to the 18th century. Built as the de la Torre family's ancestral manor house in 1702 and rebuilt in 1705 as a two-storey tower after the War of the Spanish Succession, this manor farmhouse has been transformed into a boutique luxury hotel that preserves its unique architectural charm. The rehabilitation kept the original stone and used natural materials from the surroundings.

The rooms represent a perfect marriage between aged stone walls and contemporary interior design, with high-end amenities including ultramodern bathrooms. The style is somewhat minimalist, in a warm neutral palette with taupes and grays, soft textiles and light woods. Architectural sustainability is reflected in solar panels, biomass boilers fed with wood chips from nearby forests, and water from natural springs.

Torre del Marqués is located in a privileged setting in Monroyo, Teruel, surrounded by rolling vineyards and olive groves in the charming Matarraña region, often called the Spanish Tuscany. The estate includes own vineyards, olive groves and almond trees managed with ecological practices. The Puertos de Beceite Natural Park offers hiking and cycling routes through mountain landscapes and Mediterranean forests. The area is known for black truffle hunting in season and for its medieval stone villages dotting the landscape.
