Historic“Agritourism and wine in Menorca”
Torralbenc is a 19th century agricultural estate transformed into Menorca's most sophisticated agritourism hotel. Its vineyard produces its own wine, its vegetable garden supplies the restaurant and its rooms in old farmhouses offer the Menorcan countryside in its purest form.

Authentic agritourism
The 77 hectare estate was acquired in 2005 with the objective of developing an agritourism and winery project. At that time there was nothing left of the old house except ruins, the historic buildings were in very poor condition and the land had not been worked for more than 30 years. The meticulous restoration took almost a decade. The first five hectares of vineyard were planted in 2006, another five in 2013 and seven more in 2017 to reach the current 17 hectares. Finally, in 2013, Torralbenc opened its doors preserving its original essence. In 2016, the first vintage of Torralbenc wines was produced, reviving the island's winemaking tradition after decades of neglect.

The group of buildings from the 19th and early 20th centuries has been meticulously restored, harmonizing with the surroundings and recovering the typical white facades of the island. The 27 rooms are distributed in old farmhouses, stables and rehabilitated rural buildings. Meandering paths and traditional dry stone walls reveal historic agricultural structures: threshing floors, stables and farmhouses. The winery occupies the old cellar of the estate converted into a cozy restaurant. The authenticity of the architecture and the natural environment have been respected to the maximum, combining these values with comfortable and modern spaces.
Islas Baleares
Torralbenc is located in Alaior, in the rural heart of Menorca. The Talayotic remains of the estate connect with the Talayotic Menorca, candidate for UNESCO World Heritage Site. The unspoiled coves of the south of the island are within easy reach. Mahon and its natural harbor are nearby. The Camí de Cavalls, the ancient coastal path that circles the island, allows excursions on foot or by bicycle. The Biosphere Reserve of Menorca protects the entire island territory, guaranteeing an intact agricultural landscape.
