Historic“The rural Ibiza that nobody knows”
Ses Pitreras is an agritourism in the interior of Ibiza where time stood still. Its organic vegetable garden, its Iberian pigs, its free-range hens and its home cooking offer the rural Ibiza that existed before mass tourism. The perfect antithesis of the fashionable beaches.
Breakfast with eggs from the farm's hens and the silence of the Ibizan countryside.

Real agritourism
No mass tourism
Ses Pitreras was born when Albert Bui acquired a traditional Ibicencan house from the 1970s near the coves of Comte and Bassa and decided to convert it into an intimate boutique hotel. In love with the magic of Ibiza, he wanted to create a refuge that captured the essence of the island away from mass tourism. He hired architect and interior designer Joan Lao, who opted for a modern design in peaceful harmony with the landscape, integrating the original elements of the building and maintaining the authentic Ibizan spirit. The result is a hotel of only 7 rooms that offers the rural Ibiza that existed before discotheques and beach clubs.

Construction
1970
Joan Lao transformed the Ibizan house from the 1970s while respecting its original structure of dark stone walls characteristic of the island's heritage. The design is contemporary, open and vibrant, with lots of small details that surprise guests. The rooms have a minimalist and modern style with a sober and elegant ambiance. The dark stone walls, unique to Ibicencan architecture, contrast with bright spaces and contemporary furnishings. The Mediterranean garden integrates palm trees, bougainvilleas, yuccas and pitreras (piteras or agaves) that give the hotel its name.
Islas Baleares
Ses Pitreras is in Sant Josep, in the rural interior of Ibiza but only 10 minutes from Ibiza town. The best coves of the west coast are accessible: Cala Comte with its legendary sunsets, Cala Bassa with its iconic beach bar and Cala Jondal. The Natural Park of Ses Salines offers flamingos and salt marsh landscapes. Es Vedrà, Ibiza's magical islet, can be seen from the nearby coves. The rural Ibicenco hinterland with its white churches and carob tree fields represents the antithesis of mass tourism.
Contemplation of the most famous sunset of Ibiza from Cala Comte, a few minutes from the hotel.
Homemade breakfast with seasonal products and the silence of the Ibizan countryside as the only soundtrack.
Tour of the interior of the island: white churches, carob tree fields, traditional wells and peasant architecture.
Excursion to the viewpoints of Es Vedrà, the magical islet of Ibiza, preferably at sunset.
Room with contemporary minimalist design, Ibizan dark stone walls and serene atmosphere.
Larger room with private terrace overlooking the Mediterranean garden with palm trees and bougainvillea.
Suite with separate living room, the best views of the garden and direct access to the hotel's common areas.
