Hotel Las Arenas Balneario Resort was built on the site of a traditional 19th century spa and was the first major hotel in the Valencia region. The building combines beautiful historic 19th century construction with elegant modern architecture. Located across the street from the Malvarrosa beach, it features ornate architectural details and classic Spanish design elements, such as traditional colorful tiles and wrought iron accents that recall the elegance of late 19th century Valencian spas. The historic façade has been carefully preserved while the interior has been completely modernized to offer 21st century comforts. The design integrates spacious and bright spaces overlooking the Mediterranean, maintaining the essence of the original spa while incorporating state-of-the-art spa facilities. With 253 deluxe rooms spread throughout the resort, the hotel offers an experience that honors its historic heritage while embracing contemporary luxury.

The Surroundings

Las Arenas Balneario Resort is located on Valencia's picturesque Malvarrosa beach, one of the most emblematic urban beaches of the Mediterranean city. The location offers direct access to the Mediterranean Sea and is adjacent to a marina with various water and beach activities. The Malvarrosa promenade stretches for miles, lined with palm trees and lined with traditional Valencian paella restaurants. Within walking distance is the historic center of Valencia, with its medieval monuments, Calatrava's City of Arts and Sciences, and the central market. The Malvarrosa beach has been immortalized by the Valencian painter Joaquin Sorolla in his luminous coastal scenes. The area represents Valencia's historical connection to the sea and the 19th century seaside tradition, when wealthy Valencian families came to take the sea waters.
