Country and city
The Hotel Pazo de Altamira was built in 2010 on the foundations of the old Pazo de Altamira, respecting the original stone structure of the historic building. During the 1920s, this area gained fame for the theatrical performances that were held in its surroundings. The strategic location of the hotel, at Rúa Altamira 18, places it at the epicenter of centuries of Compostela's history, surrounded by emblematic places visited by millions of pilgrims and tourists from all over the world. Every stone and every corner of the old town hides a different story, and the hotel has become a quiet refuge right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Galicia's most important market.

Restoration
2010
The building is distributed over four floors of imposing stone construction, characteristic of traditional Galician architecture. The restoration carried out in 2010 followed a functional and contemporary style that respects the historic character of the property. The 16 rooms are distributed over seven floors, each individually furnished and decorated with a bright and minimalist design that harmonizes avant-garde and modernity. The elegance, tradition and hospitality of the Galician people are combined in the interior redesign, creating spaces where contemporary design coexists in perfect harmony with the history of the building.
