Hotel Botánico & The Oriental Spa Garden

Hotel Botánico opened its doors in Puerto de la Cruz, establishing itself as a benchmark of luxury in Tenerife. In 1998 it became the first hotel in the Canary Islands to be a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, consolidating its position as the only 5-star Grand Luxury hotel on the island. The hotel has maintained its commitment to environmental excellence, being recognized as number 1 of the top 100 environmentally conscious international hotels, with environmental certification verified by TÜV Rheinland. In 2023 it completed a comprehensive modernization while maintaining its unique character combining oriental influences with western luxury.

The hotel features a renovated classical style with oriental touches that are manifested in its 25,000 m² of botanical gardens. The spectacular reception area reflects the hotel's modern corporate identity with an imposing canopy of steel structure and glass ceiling. It features a sculptural chandelier composed of more than 800 crystal leaves suspended on a single amethyst druse. The gardens feature wooden bridges, koi carp ponds and black swans that create an atmosphere of Asian serenity. The hotel houses an impressive private art collection with works by 19th and 20th century Canarian and Spanish artists, including César Manrique, Oscar Domínguez, Pepe Dámaso and Néstor de la Torre.

Located in Puerto de la Cruz in the north of Tenerife, the hotel is literally surrounded by nature, next to the city's botanical garden and under the imposing presence of Mount Teide.
