“A 17th-century Mallorcan mansion reimagined”

Can Ferrereta is a 17th-century family residence converted into a 5-star resort. The hotel is located next to the walled enclosure of Santanyí, built to prevent constant pirate attacks. Its proximity to the bell tower and the Norfolk pine rising in its inner courtyard secure this mansion's place in the town's history. Can Ferrereta is part of Santanyí's cultural heritage, so the original structure and character of traditional Mallorcan stately architecture has been preserved. Both the Soldevila-Ferrer family and the prestigious local architecture studio are obsessed with finding the essence of traditional buildings. The family also transformed Hotel Sant Francesc Singular in Palma.

The design combines 17th-century architecture with bold and insightful interiorism that seeks the essence of traditional style. Perfectly integrated pieces that radiate heart and soul achieve a timeless modern look. The hotel features pieces commissioned from local artisans, alongside furniture from renowned designers like Piero Lissoni, Piet Boon, Hans J. Wegner, Michael Anastassiades and GamFratesi. Exposed beams and stone walls nod to rustic roots, while elegant canopy beds are juxtaposed with furniture in calming tones. Organic touches in room decoration evidence the agricultural heritage of this retreat and its fertile surroundings.
