Description
Agra Fort is the other treasure of the Taj Mahal city. Its 2.5 km red sandstone walls enclose marble palaces, mosques and gardens where Mughal emperors ruled the subcontinent. Here Shah Jahan spent his last years imprisoned, gazing from a window at the mausoleum he built for his beloved.
